Pinguicula gigantea grows quite large. This form has a dark purple flower and is less common that the light purple form. This plant will produce brilliantly green foliage that is moist and cool to the touch year-round. It also seems to be nearly-immune to pest attacks due to the fact that most of the plant is carnivorous.
