This form of Pinguicula ehlersiae comes from Ixmiquipan in the state of Hidalgo in Mexico. It's my favorite form of Pinguicula ehlersiae and I also maintain a seed grown colony of this plant as well. It can grow fairly large for an ehlersiae under the right conditions and will turn an exquisitely vivid shade of pink under intense light and to add to its magnificence the flower is quite the show to see as well!
